Woman Kicked Off Flight After Hurling Racist Insults At Her Boyfriend And Slamming A Laptop On His Head

Flying is a stressful experience for everyone. Plans go wrong, tempers flare, and sometimes we find ourselves taking actions and saying things that don’t represent the best side of ourselves.

A recent viral tweet from @JuliaScorupco captured one such incident. On her flight from Miami to Los Angeles, a couple in the row behind her began having a conflict that ended in quite the dramatic fashion.

*Warning: Clip contains explicit language*

The woman in the clip was apparently enraged when she caught her partner looking at another woman.

Thus began a rant that caught the attention of everyone on the plane.

As of the writing of this article, the tweet had been favorited over 134,000 times!

Twitter was equal parts amused and horrified by the woman’s behavior!

It was very clear how the rest of the passengers felt when the woman smacked her partner with a laptop.

As she chases down her partner, a flight attendant can be heard telling the woman:

“Ma’am, you’re going to be charged with assault.”

Twitter also seemed to be in agreement over who the real stars of the video were.

A spokesperson for American Airlines told The Independent:

“Prior to departure from the gate on Sunday at Miami International Airport, two passengers who were travelling together were involved in a dispute. Law enforcement was requested, and both passengers were removed from the aircraft.”

“We thank the American crew who worked quickly to diffuse the situation. Their actions resulted in a safe environment for all of our passengers.”

It’s a good thing the crew took care of the situation as well as they did, because things seemed to be getting out of hand pretty quickly…

Though the woman may now be facing legal troubles, she’ll at least rest easy knowing she’ll never be forgotten by a generation of Twitter users.

The real moral of the story? If you want a laptop as solid as a brick, buy intel!

If they’re smart, Air Marshalls will pay extra attention to passengers with laptops from now on. You never know where the tech-based threat might come from…
