The recent shooting in Thousand Oaks has left the country reeling. The country having suffered at the hand of yet another mass shooter, bringing the number of incidents to over 300, is in a state of disarray. And it seems like just yesterday we were worrying about the migrant caravan.
Except it wasn’t yesterday. It was earlier this week.
"The caravan is not the problem. Homegrown killers are the problem. And the question is — when are we going to do something about it?" CNN's @DonLemon discusses the shooting in California where a man opened fire in a bar, killing 12 people and injuring more. pic.twitter.com/MKuT0rGOBk

Calling out the president on his rhetoric leading up to the election, Don Lemon talked on CNN Tonight about the recent Thousand Oaks shooter. He listed off a long list of places where other mass shootings have taken place as well.
Then he hit Trump with his burning question.
“Which caravan did the shooter belong to? None of them as far as I know.”
This is in reference to the migrant caravan, which Trump has not mentioned on Twitter since the election. It is made of asylum seekers, fleeing their own countries to find refuge, hopefully in the United States. Don Lemon is pointing out how Trump is telling us to be afraid of them, but unwilling to do much about the mass shooters.
Lemon summed up saying.
“The caravan is not the problem and hasn’t been the problem. Homegrown killers are the problem. Homegrown killers are the problem. The question is, when are we going to do something about it?”
The comment resonated with many people.
We are slowly, somewhat slowly, becoming like countries we all used to just read about- in horror. The senseless shootings-one after the other. It may not be drugs/cartel, but it’s every bit as terrifying.

If it was an illegal immigrant that killed innocent people, as usual, he will seize the opportunity and turn it into political rhetoric. But now he has kept quiet. Hypocrite POTUS. He needs to be evaluated.

Can we be honest . These mass shooting is not done by people of color.
Trump understands how weeds like to be nourished–a steady diet of hate, fear, and racism, the new metric for social networking. Advertising understand this as well.

Those "homegrown killers" are Trump's base, that's why.

Others had to correct those who were misinformed.
Yet full of families, women, and children who have been peaceful. They are fleeing because they want to protect their families against drug cartel. I would happily drive down there and be a host family in the interim while they were legalized and on their feet.

Lol. The caravan can be equated the boats coming into Ellis Island. If they ask for refugee status at the ports of entry, it is not "illegal".

This continuing friction between the President and media outlets has escalated in recent weeks, with CNN’s Jim Acosta having his white house credentials revoked after refusing to give up his mic because the president dodged a question.
