Arizona High School Dance Team Goes Viral With Impressive ‘Avengers’ Homecoming Dance Routine

In the continuing topic of this high school is way cooler than yours, Walden Grove High School in in Sahuarita, Arizona put together a dance team routine that will start your Monday off with a multi-universe bang.

The dance was inspired by Marvel.

Yes—Marvel.

“How is this possible?” you may ask.  “What magic is this?”

Well, don’t take our word for it.

See for yourself:

Every Marvel character imaginable was touched on in the dance—including Rocket Raccoon, Thanos, Iron Man—and was a big ole Spoiler Alert to anybody who has yet to see Endgame.

Since its release on September 6, the video has been viewed over two million times.

Imagine thinking you’re in for a simple homecoming assembly and getting an abridged retelling of a blockbuster movie instead.

This isn’t the first time the dance team has done something like this, though.

In 2018, they did a Harry Potter themed assembly that was glorious in all its own way.

And in 2016, they did a Pixar-themed one that will bring tears to your eyes.

Seriously, how did we not go to this high school‽‽

“We are in shock right now,” Kristi Lopez, the team’s coach, said to Yahoo Entertainment.

“I mean, we love Avengers and Marvel and all those things, but we didn’t know that it would be this big.”

The team are not professional trained dancers, but are rehearsing for several hours a week, or else fundraising, building sets, making costumes or otherwise devoting their time to the group.

We can’t wait to see the 2020 Homecoming Display.
